In 2003 I left a fast-paced career in advertising to enroll as a full-time, adult student at Dominican University. Over the years I have been fortunate to serve in many roles at Dominican. As an alumna, faculty member, academic advisor, and co-director of several intercultural programs, I have developed and maintained strong relationships with students and with numerous departments across the university. My deep understanding of the Dominican brand – its mission, culture and traditions – and my passion for working with local and international students, make me an excellent fit for the transfer admission position.
The thin-crust pizza at La Boccaccia on via di Santa Dorotea in Trastevere, Italy; the tapioca gelato at Gelateria Vivoli in Florence, a greasy cheeseburger piled high with grilled onions and avocado, and all types of Japanese cuisine.
Working out, running, adventure sports, falconry, independent and foreign film, international puppet theater.
Playing golf, exploring second-hand bookstores, relaxing with a glass of wine, solitude.
