Macbeth gets a modern spin in DU's production

Alumna photographs "neediest cases" for Times

Michelle Agins, a 1977 graduate of Rosary College, is the chief photographer of the annual New York Times Neediest Cases Fund. Agins photographs individuals and families who are willing to share their struggles with poverty, struggles that Agins herself has experienced.


Students go to Springfield to support MAP grants

Eighty Dominican University students traveled to Springfield, IL, to participate in a rally outside the capital building to support the Illinois Monetary Assistance Program (MAP). Gov. Pat Quinn signed a bill on October 15 to reinstate the MAP program, which helps hundreds of students at Dominican pay for tuition.

The Performing Arts Center will present Macbeth, one of Shakespeare’s most highly acclaimed tragedies, November 13-15 in the Lund Auditorium. Friday and Saturday night performances begin at 7:30 p.m.; the Sunday performance begins at 3:00 p.m.
