It is my privilege to offer you the university's formal greeting and to provide you and your family web access to the Dominican University community.

 

As I watch our students mature each year, parents struggle with the tension of letting go. These web pages are designed to help you navigate the complexities of university life. Constantly exposed to new challenges, we hope partnering with you can displace some of your anxiety and offer resources so you can assist your son or daughter succeed at Dominican.

 

As student development professionals we expect your students to grow socially, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually as they define themselves in the Dominican community. We recognize this will present you with challenges, as well.

 

Try to relax and remember that you have prepared your kids to successfully navigate their new freedom. After all, you are the best teacher he or she will ever have.
