Follow Macbeth's journey from hero to tyrant to outcast, along the downward spiral of greed and the inevitable demise that comes from choosing personal profit over the greater good. Through their longstanding participation in Yo-Yo Ma's Silk Road Ensemble, a group dedicated to exploring the cultural intersections of the peoples along the ancient trade route, they have performed throughout the world, recorded three albums for Sony Classical, and have reached audiences through a series of educational initiatives, family concerts and media broadcasts. Ethos' integrates global instruments and playing styles into the conventions of Western chamber music to create a visually and aurally compelling experience.
