Seventeen Goals for Sustainability

The United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs developed these 17 goals of sustainability as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. These goals demand support from all developed and developing countries​​ to take action in issues such as climate change as well as social health and poverty. Across campus, students and staff are making it a priority to address these issues.

SustainDU, the university’s sustainability club, embodies the work toward achieving the 17 goals by leading various initiatives and events throughout the year.
