Health Insurance and Wellness Center

The Wellness Center is a full service health care facility located in the Lower Level of Coughlin Hall. The staff of medical, mental health and wellness professionals is committed to helping students maintain and enhance their health in order to support their academic success and personal development. They provide primary health and mental health care for ill or emotionally distressed students.

For International F1, J1 Visa Students 

International students at Dominican University with an F1 or J1 visa are required to have health insurance. Through our partner at Associated Insurance Plans (AIP) we offer a health plan to meet this requirement for international students along with other resources, such as coverage for dental and vision. If you already have a health insurance plan that is equivalent to this plan, you will need to contact the Wellness Center to demonstrate proof of coverage.
