International Student Orientations
Immigration Orientation
All international (F-1 and J-1, transfer and initial) students are required to attend an immigration orientation. At this individual or small group orientation, you will learn about:
- Immigration rules and regulations governing F and J students
- F-1 benefits, such as CPT and OPT
- Travel requirements
- Much, much more
You will also be registered in SEVIS and will receive a new “continued attendance” I-20.
Please contact Sue Ponremy to make an appointment. You must be registered for a full course of study and you must bring your passport/visa and all I-20s in your possession.
Student Orientation
Additionally, all undergraduate students (F-1 and J-1, transfer and initial) must attend a full-day international orientation. You will meet key faculty and staff, tour offices such as the Wellness Center and the Tutoring Center and become better acclimated to our campus. Details about date and time will be posted at a later date.
All undergraduate students, international and domestic, are required to attend SOAR (Student Orientation and Registration). Contact your admission counselor for further details.
