Why I Work in DU Admission
The reason I choose to work at Dominican is because of the camaraderie and common goals of everyone on campus. The faculty and staff at Dominican inspires students to achieve those goals. The “small community feel” that Dominican University possesses makes it easy for me to speak and represent this exceptional school.

Why I work in DU Admission
I have chosen to work at Dominican University (DU) because of what sets us apart, specifically DU's ability to intertwine a global vision with a local impact. The educational experiences provided transcend geographical boundaries, yet the institution remains deeply rooted in its commitment to addressing the unique needs of the local community. This duality creates a dynamic and enriching environment for both staff and students. As a woman from the Austin Community area, I observe how DU is committed to playing a pivotal role in reaching out to underrepresented families and ensuring they have access to quality education and resources. Recognizing that the work we do involves creating programs that bridge gaps, foster inclusivity, and empower individuals from diverse backgrounds to pursue higher education, I believe working closely with young adults is not just a job; it's a calling.
