Como Magazine interviewed Margaret Conroy MALIS ’86 in its Get to Know series. Margaret is the Executive Director of Daniel Boone Regional Library in Columbia, Missouri. She is responsible for public library services for Boone and Callaway counties.
Margaret is a career librarian and started her professional career in Quincy, Illinois. Since moving to Missouri in the early 1990s, she has worked at the University on the Missouri Newspaper Project, served as library director for two neighboring libraries (based in Moberly and Jefferson City), was the assistant director for St. Charles City-County Library, and was the state librarian for Missouri.
Margaret has a master’s in library science from Dominican University and a master’s in public administration from the University of Missouri.
