Dr. Seth Wyatt Fallik ’08 visits campus prior to book award

Dr. Seth Wyatt Fallik ’08 received the Outstanding Book Award during the American Society of Criminology’s annual meeting in Chicago. His book is titled Police-Community Relations in Times of Crisis: Decay and Reform in the Post-Ferguson Era.
Seth is an associate professor in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice and affiliate faculty for the Center for Urban and Environmental Solutions at Florida Atlantic University. He received his PhD in criminal justice from Sam Houston State University, in Huntsville, Texas in 2015. Much of Dr. Fallik’s research involves ongoing researcher-practitioner collaborations and he has been published in criminal justice and criminology’s top journals.
Prior to being honored with the book award, Seth visited his alma mater to speak with two criminology classes. As a student-athlete at Dominican, Seth served as captain of the men’s soccer team that appeared in the NCAA’s Elite Eight in 2006.
