Ari Preston is an alum of Dominican University (Class of 2014). Ari began working in SSE as a staff member in August of 2022. Before her time at Dominican, she was an Academic Advisor at DePaul University's Driehaus College of Business and a Licensed Professional Counselor at Holistically Divine Counseling. As a student, Ari was a Peer LEADer, a member of the Black Student Union and the Resident Student Association. As a staff member, Ari enjoys participating in the Truth, Racial Healing & Transformation (TRHT) initiatives on campus and is a member of the Staff Assembly. Ari has taught the first-year seminar course FYS 105- The Examined Life: Blueprint for College Success, and ID 102- Strategies for Academic Success. Ari is known for her pink office- Crown Library 102 (right across from the butterfly on the Heritage Mural next to SSE), and her favorite place on campus is the Colister Walk.
