Ashlee Johnson has chosen to work at Dominican University (DU) because she believes in the mission of the University and the foundation of the four pillars that supports your journey of seeking truth, offering compassion, and creating a more just and humane world. As a first-generation graduate, she strives to assist students by guiding them throughout their academic journey and being there for them. Working at Dominican University, she has found that the community within our institution provides a sense of belonging; everyone, as well as our faculty/staff and student population, are very diverse, and they come from all walks of life. She feels that the University is not just an institution from which you graduate, but it is home. Since the first day that she walked in, she felt welcomed, and she knew that this was the right place for her.

Her interests include singing, cooking, traveling, working out, listening to music, watching anime, and spending time with her family.
