Bill Kerr

Professor Bill Kerr is the Director of the Graphic Design discipline at Dominican University. He applies his knowledge and love of art, design, business and teaching both in the classroom and at Modern Quilt Studio which he co-founded with his wife Weeks Ringle in 1999. As pioneers in their field, they wrote the first book on modern quilting. They design, illustrate and publish Modern Quilts Illustrated, the first magazine exclusively dedicated to modern quilting. Bill also licenses fabric designs, tools and products that are sold globally.
Their work has appeared in Dwell, O:The Oprah Magazine, TIME, The New York Times, and dozens of magazines from Japan to Denmark to Australia. Bill has led hundreds of design workshops and delivered lectures throughout the US, Canada, Australia, Japan and France.
