Christine Platt

Christine M. Platt joined Dominican University in 2017 and teaches a variety of classes including Health Communication, Health Literacy, Organizational Communication, Strategic, Risk & Crisis Communication, and Intercultural Communication. The focus of her research is at intersection of health, health literacy, and intercultural or inter-group communication, including patient-provider, patient’s family-provider, and provider-provider communication patterns. Outside of campus activities, she enjoys traveling with her greyhound, kayaking, hiking, gardening, and spending time with family.
