  • Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Official transcripts from the institution that awarded your bachelor's degree or higher. Please request that the registrar(s) send the transcript directly to Dominican, either in paper or electronically. Applicant-submitted transcripts must be submitted in a sealed envelope, signed across the seal
  • Completed online application
  • Statement of purpose explaining how the degree will fit in with the applicant’s personal and professional goals. Please refer to the questions in the application.
  • Resume
  • GRE scores are not required, but may be submitted to strengthen a candidate’s application
  • One letter of recommendation may be requested for applicants whose GPA falls below a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale

Applicants are accepted year-round with new students beginning the program at the start of the fall, spring, or summer semesters. Applicants are advised to apply at least one month prior to the semester in which they plan to begin.

Student-at-Large Status

An applicant wishing to enroll as a student-at-large, rather than as a degree-seeking student, must submit a student-at-large application and official transcripts. Student-at-large status is permissible for one semester only and for a maximum of six-credit hours. International students are not eligible to apply for student-at-large status.

International Students

Please note: International students requiring a student visa are not eligible to apply to the Master of Arts in Mediation and Conflict Resolution program.
