Work Study
The Dominican University Performing
 Arts Center (DUPAC) is a professional venue that hosts renowned artists in a variety of genres. Performers at DUPAC have included Renee Fleming, Audra McDonald, River North Dance Company, Wendy Wasserstein and Emmylou Harris.
DUPAC offers several work-study opportunities. Eligible students can apply for paid positions in the Scene Shop, Costume Shop, Box Office and Event Staffing. This hands-on experience gives students a better understanding of different aspects of theatre and positions them well for future employment.
Practicum Students
Each semester, students enrolled in a theatre practicum are assign to DUPAC event positions, including front-of-house, marketing, stagehand, artist liaison and more. Students rotate through these positions over four years, giving them a comprehensive overview of how a professional arts venue operates.
