Graduates of Dominican’s Department of Theatre Arts and Music find work in professional theatre in the Chicago area and beyond.
Alli Braun ’14
Alli has been working in Chicago theatre since graduation. She has appeared recently in the TYA production of Alice in Wonderland and The Art of Motivation at Stage 773 in Chicago. She also played the role of Nadia in Bare: A Pop Opera with the Cuckoo’s Theatre Project at Chicago Dramatists, where she worked alongside DU classmate Becca Duff ’14.
Becca Duff ’14
Becca is currently working in Chicago theatre. Her recent work includes Godspell with Theatre Nebula, and she appeared as Ivy alongside DU alumna Alli Braun ’14 in Bare: A Pop Opera with the Cuckoo’s Theatre Project at Chicago Dramatists. She was also seen in the Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival and Chicago Women's Funny Fest.
Dannie Moore ’12
Dannie is a company member with AstonRep Theatre Company, where she works in stage management, dramaturgy and light design. Her latest projects include Wit, The Lieutenant of Inishmore, Badfic Love, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and A Sign of the Times. Dannie continues to perform with the Windy City Treble Quire. She also works as the light designer/stage manager for the alumni show presented by Columbia College’s Department of Creative Arts Therapies.
Vicki Whooper '11
Vicki has completed her second year of graduate studies at the prestigious Yale School of Drama as an MFA stage management candidate. Recent stage management work includes Paradise Lost, WAR (a new play by Brandon Jacobs-Jenkins) and Seussical at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. In the fall of 2015, Vicki will be stage managing Peerless, a new play at Yale Repertory Theatre.
Jim Kozyra ’08
A mainstay in Chicago theatre and improv, Jim has appeared in the film One in a Million (2012) and on television in Tough Season (2013). In 2015, he landed a deal with New York–based MCN The Orchard to produce a new TV comedy series, The Jamz, which launched its first season in 2016. Penned by Kozyra and Chris Petlak, the show features the writing duo as regulars in a cast that includes Kathy Najimy, David Pasquesi and Michael Patrick Thornton.
