External Tuition Exchange Programs
Dominican University provides the opportunity for dependent children of faculty and staff to participate in external tuition exchange programs. The three programs include: The Catholic College Cooperative Tuition Exchange, the Council of Independent Colleges Tuition Exchange and the Tuition Exchange. The receiving institution determines who will receive the benefit and any limitations on those benefits. The websites cited below provide lists of all member institutions and are updated regularly.
Because of restrictions on the number of participants, eligibility for Tuition Exchange, Inc. is determined by seniority. Export scholarships for Tuition Exchange, Inc. from Dominican University will be awarded based on the availability of credits, incumbency in the program and length of service. Annual recertification will be based on maintaining active, full-time employment as a faculty or staff member.
Before students apply for admission to a participating institution, employees are encouraged to speak with the admission counselor and/or the TE liaison officer at the importing institution regarding the Tuition Exchange awarding process, criteria and application deadlines.
Applications for these programs are available from the Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management. A pre-application should be submitted by September 15 of the year before the fall semester for which the student intends to enroll.
