Resources for Students of Color
The CCL supports the following culturally-based affinity groups:

The CCL honors several heritage months and cultural holidays throughout the year, including Latine Heritage Month, Black History Month, Juneteenth, Indigenous Heritage Month, and Asian American Pacific Islander Month.
Immigrant Student Support
The CCL supports the Undocumented Immigrant Allyance student group.
In collaboration with on and off-campus partners, the CCL hosts several events to support and educate immigrant students including DACA clinics, legal clinics, financial literacy workshop, entrepreneurship workshops.

Mental Health. DU offers free counseling, stress management and wellness services.

Informed Immigrant. The informed immigrant website is the product of a collective of nationally recognized immigrant-serving organizations, lawyers, technologists, and allies dedicated to helping the undocumented immigrant community. Available in both English and Spanish.

Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights (ICIRR). ICIRR is dedicated to promoting the rights of immigrants and refugees to full and equal participation in the civic, cultural, social, and political life of our diverse society. Education initiatives.

United We Dream. The largest immigrant youth-led community, empowering people to develop their leadership, their organizing skills, and to develop our own campaigns to fight for justice and dignity for immigrants and all people. Healthcare Access for undocumented folks in the time of Covid-19.

Immigrants Rising. Formerly Educators for Fair Consideration (E4FC). Immigrants Rising empowers undocumented young people to achieve educational and career goals through personal, institutional and policy transformation. Weekly Wednesday Wellness gatherings.
LGBTQIA+ Student Support
The CCL supports the student group PRISM.
In collaboration with PRISM and several campus partners, the CCL educates the campus community and celebrates LGBTQ+ people with events including the annual Drag Show, guest speakers, LGBTQ+ History Month, Trans Day of Visibility, among others.
