Technology Needs

The Student Care team can help address technology needs for students and their families.

• Laptop and Equipment Loans. The equipment loan program (ELP) was created as a resource to assist students with technology needs. Laptops are limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
• Internet Access. Staff can assist students and their families with government assisted programs for affordable internet access.
• Discounted Laptop Programs. Below are examples of three organizations students can explore with the help of the Student Care team. Additionally, some low-income students may qualify for benefits to get a free computer; staff can navigate these options with students who qualify.
  
  • Notebooks for Students. NFS offers New, Factory Refurbished and NFS Certified Off-lease Laptops.
  • PC’s for People. PCs for People provides refurbished computers to eligible customers for affordable prices.
  • Computers with Causes. A nonprofit organization committed to bridging the digital gap, invites individuals and organizations to participate in our Free Computer Program.
