Alumna Recognized for Helping At-Risk Populations Through Reading Foundation
Maria Hayley MALS ’72 will be included in Marquis Who’s Who, a publication of biographical information of notable people, for her work as founder and president of the Freadom Road Foundation.
The nonprofit foundation’s mission is to break the cycle of intergenerational incarceration through programs and services for at-risk populations, including children of incarcerated parents. Books and literacy are at the heart of these services.
Hayley founded the Freadom Road Foundation in 1995.
