Briana S. Bostic MSED ’18 was one of 10 Ph.D. students at Johns Hopkins University to be inducted into the university’s chapter of the Edward A. Bouchert Graduate Honor Society recently. The society recognizes the academic achievements of doctoral students and their commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

Bostic is a Ph.D. candidate in education focusing on teacher well-being, children’s development and early care educator resources, Johns Hopkins said.

As a graduate student at Dominican, Bostic’s concentration was early childhood education. Before beginning her Ph.D. studies, she was a teacher in Chicago Public Schools.
