Call for Submissions

The PASOS Network invites undergraduate students to submit any written or visual art that reflects the ways in which we engage in culturally responsive and sustaining practices that center the lived realities of students from minoritized communities.

Submission Guidelines 

• Submissions are open to undergraduate students from all disciplines.
• Written works should be submitted in digital format (Microsoft Word).
• Visual arts should be submitted in the highest resolution possible. Photography should be at least 8-10 inches minimum; JPEGs only.
• Writers and artists should submit a brief artist statement and bio with their submissions.
• Writers and artists should submit a headshot to be included should they get published.
• All submissions should be original and previously unpublished.

Important Dates

• All submissions are due by Sunday, December 1, 2024, 11:59 p.m. Central Time.
• Acceptance Notifications will be sent out by January 17, 2025. 

Submit Your Work

Our Student Editorial Board and the PASOS Network staff will review all submissions; pieces that are not selected to be published in the inaugural issue will be considered for future issues.
