Resources for Students
The College of Health Sciences wants our students to succeed and so we try to help students in a number of ways. While the list below provides options for students to get help, we want to stress that it begins with the individual. Students should go and see their faculty for help in their courses and utilize the following offices as a resource. Contact each department if academic help is needed. Departments have resources for tutoring help in their programs.
Academic Success Center
The Academic Success Center is a supportive learning commons for students with four units: Literacy and Learning Resources, Career Programs and Employer Relations, Global and Civic Engagement and Research and Creativity.
Academic Advising
The Office of Academic Advising can help you with specific questions regarding your academic program; they can help you with your degree audit, they can also help if you are not sure what you want to do. This office of professional advisors can help you navigate through the academic paths of Dominican.
Office of Financial Aid
The Office of Financial Aid can help with understanding your financial aid package and answer any questions regarding tuition, scholarships and other questions regarding your financial aid.
Office of the Registrar
The Office of the Registrar can help with understanding your graduation requirements, registration questions. This is the office to request transcripts.
Office of Student Accounts
The Office of Student Accounts is where you can make payments to your school bills.
Student Medical Organizations
Dominican’s student organizations offer fun and exciting opportunities to get involved on campus, develop a professional network, connect with other students and much more. Wellness Center
The Wellness Center offers a full range of health care services for all Dominican students, whether full time, part time, graduate, undergraduate, resident or commuter. From immunizations and counseling sessions to treatment for flu or strep throat, they have you covered.
