A “Why Democratic Participation is Important to Me” Creative Showcase / Award Competition
All students are invited to submit their responses to this question as part of Dominican University's "Election 2024: Why Democratic Participation Matters to You" story sharing drive and essay competition. Students may click on this link to answer a few short questions and submit their responses.
The university will celebrate the voices and stories of all student submitters through a showcase display in Rebecca Crown Library, DU announcements and recognition at public events during the fall semester. An award of $250 will be extended to the competition's first prize winner, $150 for the second prize winner, and $100 for the third prize winner. We enthusiastically welcome submissions from students with points of view across the political spectrum.
