The O’Connor Gallery at Dominican University presents the exhibit landfeels by sculptor Nnenna Okore from Aug. 28 through Oct. 12.

Okore is an internationally acclaimed artist, educator and Fulbright Fellow. Her works have been featured in notable venues like the Museum of Art and Design in New York City, Spelman Museum of Fine Art, Memphis Brooks Museum of Art and more. She is currently a professor of art at North Park University in Chicago.

Her sculptural work is informed by her interest in the natural world, and in regeneration and natural life cycles. Her intricate forms invite the viewer to explore their inventive textures and organic meanderings up close.

Okore’s exhibit can be viewed any time during regular gallery hours, which are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday.
