Dominican Students' Vaccine Efforts Pay Off

The Wednesday Journal wrote an article about Dominican University students who helped residents in Maywood, a marginalized community hit hard by COVID-19, to get vaccinated this summer. The program was launched in partnership with the Interfaith Youth Core, a longstanding Dominican partner. Students assisted with vaccine efforts at faith-based institutions in Maywood, as well as the park district, food pantries, laundromats and other public spaces.
