History-making Men's Volleyball Team Has Sights Set on National Title

Dominican University’s history-making men’s volleyball team was featured in a CBS 2 Chicago segment last week.

The team became the first in school history to be ranked number one in the country and players have their sights set on even more national recognition.

“We've made it to the final four, but it's not our end-all be-all," Dominican senior George Kougan said in the interview. "We want to win a national championship. We kind of use that as motivation to drive the season."

DU finished the regular season with a 22-1 record and was undefeated in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The NACC semifinal will take place April 7 in the Igini Sports Forum and will be broadcast via https://dustars.com.
