Once you are approved for academic accommodations, you will receive a Letter of Approved Accommodations. You are responsible for sharing this letter with your professors, and discussing how your accommodations will be implemented in each of your classes. Students should understand that accommodations are not retroactive, so you should share your Letter of Approved Accommodations with faculty at the very beginning of the semester, or immediately upon approval. Letters of Approved Accommodations are valid throughout the entire a student is enrolled at DU, unless Provisional or Temporary accommodations are noted. Approved housing accommodations will be communicated to University Housing by the ADA Office.

Students with academic accommodations will be added to an ADA canvas course, with training resources on how to use your accommodations. Students with exam, alternate text, note-taking, the ability to tape record lectures, and sign language accommodations can access the appropriate forms on the canvas course. Please contact ada@dom.edu if you need assistance accessing or using the Canvas resources.
