Commuter Information
Whether you live with your family or in your own apartment, we’re committed to supporting your commute.
Getting to Campus by Public Transportation
There are several ways to reach campus by public transit. Check Location and Directions for details.
Dominican University is proud to partner with the Chicago Transit Authority, CTA, and allow qualifying students to opt-in to their Ventra UPASS program. The UPASS and the DU campus shuttle allow DU students to access a cost-effective resource, travel sustainably, and explore new communities. Check out the Frequently Asked Questions for the UPASS.
Check out the Campus Connection Pass with Pace Bus; this program offers students the opportunity to opt-in for unlimited rides on Pace regular fixed routes and On Demand buses. The pass is valid for an entire semester (five months), but can be purchased at any point during the semester at a pro-rated price.
Dominican hosts a shuttle service that runs from the CTA Green Line to campus. Check out the shuttle schedule.
