Physician Assistant Studies Program Awarded $1 Million Health Foundation Grant
Dominican University’s Physician Assistant Studies Program is the recipient of a $1 million grant from the Westlake Health Foundation.
The five-year grant will provide support for clinical preceptors, the supervisors who work directly with students and share educational feedback.
Marketing Professor Talks to South Bend News on Anniversary of Ukraine War
On the first anniversary of the war in Ukraine, Dominican University Assistant Professor of Marketing Dr. Elvira Kizilova was again a featured guest on ABC57 News in South Bend, Indiana for a segment on the war.
Kizilova, who lived in Ukraine for 30 years, appeared on the Feb. 24, 2023 morning news for a segment entitled “Reflecting on One Year Since the Start of the Ukraine War.” She was interviewed by anchor and Dominican University alum Rich Bodee ’17 and co-anchor Summer Horan.

Brennan School of Business Career Development Program Recognized with Best Practices Award
The Brennan School of Business career development program is the recipient of the Best Practices Award from the Cooperative Education and Internship Association (CEIA).
The award spotlights programs that have found innovative approaches to solving issues and problems. CEIA selected Brennan’s career development program for its curricular-based model, noting the work Career Programs and Brennan are doing and the “very significant impact it is having on [Dominican’s] student body.”
